There’s only one version so there’s only one price. Anything not on the add-ons and extras list is included.
Other than 3rd party services we connect to, these are the only add-ons we charge extra for.
Implementation is one of those services that you can’t just price out on a bill-board. Costs and timelines will depend on your requirements, personnel from your side (aptitude, availability, etc..), how much of the suite is implemented, and any agreed upon code enhancements. We recommend a phased approach with milestone based progression.
Price Estimates - If you really pressed us for a big picture ball park type of guess, we’d say that compared to the marquee name ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, etc.. ) we’re probably a third to half of the cost, give or take. We oversee everything ourselves, and may pull in trusted subcontractors if the project requires it.
Implementation Timeline - This is one of the first things we like to discuss after learning about your requirements, because misaligned expectations are the #1 reason ERP projects fail.
Computing resources are cheap, but they’re not free, and because our multi-tenant architecture runs on the latest servers with the fastest CPUs, SSDs, etc.. we have to set terms that are fair to everyone.
A 10 user company producing 50 orders per day is going to have a different hardware and bandwidth impact than a similar sized organization that produces 500. If a competitor out there claims there are no limits, all we can say is - be suspicious.
With that said, our limits are generous, so you can have hundreds of thousands of items, customer records, orders, etc.., but to be fair to everyone (including ourselves) we do reserve the right to charge overage fees in those rare occasions when they’re called for.
As a small tech, we don’t have an R&D department, we have your feedback instead. The ideas you share from your successful battles in the field of competition are what help us evolve the suite (there’s a Darwinian metaphor in there somewhere).
Sometimes when there’s a really special idea, we don’t even charge, we just code it into the suite. Most of the times however we charge for enhancements, but with a caveat; The idea has to improve on the mouse trap without violating our business ethos to do more with less (less clicks, less screens, etc..), and doesn’t pigeon hole any portion of the suite, meaning everyone will find use for it (which makes us more competitive too). Do that, and not only will we consider it, we’ll make it very affordable because there’s a shared incentive.
In the end this doesn’t make us open source because only we control the source and the decision to enhance it, (which we can do better than anyone else anyways, which only helps you)… but it does give you a sort of best of both worlds benefit. Yes you may pay for ideas that others get for free, but you too will have benefited from ideas others have already paid for, and will pay for in the future. On balance we see it as the “Goldilocks” approach to software development, not too cold nor too hot - just right !
